“We are People In Pursuit of Purpose”

Bishop Eldridge C. Charlot, Sr.

At the age of eleven, Eldridge C. Charlot accepted the Lord as his personal savior and

united with Bethel Temple Holiness Church. In 1980, Bethel Temple Holiness Church

closed its doors and Apostle R. R. Taylor purchased the building forming New Day

Deliverance Holiness Church, Beaumont.

Elder Charlot flourished under the New Day ministry and accepted his calling into the

ministry at the age of twenty-six. At the age of twenty-eight he was ordained as an Elder

and appointed as the Youth Pastor where he worked faithfully. He served as the late Pastor

E.M. Gladney’s armor bearer for twenty-two years until God called her home in 2003. In

2006, he was appointed by God to be the Pastor of New Day Deliverance Holiness

Church, Beaumont, TX.

He and Sharia have been married twenty-nine years and God has blessed them with

four beautiful children: Eldridge Jr., April, Sharika, and Chasta with the addition of three

wonderful grandchildren: Jayden, Ashton, and Londyn.

Pastor Charlot is an anointed preacher whose ministry focuses on deliverance and hope.

He preaches with the authority of one who has sought the face of God; one who believes

that no matter what you are going through, no matter what you are in, no matter what

your background is, God can and will bring you out.
